為漢學研究揭開嶄新局面

借助先進科技重新整理古代典籍，將漢及以前全部傳世文獻，凡一百零三部，約共九百萬字悉數輸入電腦，編纂成《先秦兩漢古籍逐字索引叢刊》，及以電子媒體出版「漢達古籍資料庫檢索系統」，以便利學者從事有關時代之文化、歷史及語言之全面探討，從而進行更高層次及更具創意的研究。《叢刊》合共六十五卷，迄今已出版索引共五十一卷，磁碟及光碟共二十六種。

資料庫獨特之處

• 以年代為對象，不論經、史、子、集，不論字數多寡，均悉數輸入資料庫；
• 重新標點、校勘，並附上校改符號，讓讀者清楚知道文獻原貌；
• 附《全書用字頻數表》，按頻數次序列出全書單字及其拼音；
• 電子版資料庫螢幕所示格式，與書刊版原文一致；
• 可憑單字、詞語或特定句式檢索原文，檢索結果可直接列印或儲存於電腦檔案中，以便重複查閱。

A New Era in Sinology Study

The ICS Ancient Chinese Texts Concordance Series aims at utilizing modern technology in the scholarly collation of ancient texts. Advanced computer programs are used in compiling the “one-word concordances” in both print form and electronic form (namely the CHANT (CHinese ANcient Texts) Database) for 103 titles, 9M characters of extant Chinese texts for the Pre-Han and Han period. With the aid of this invaluable research tool, innovative research of a higher order can be done. The Concordance Series consists of 65 volumes, up to now, 51 volumes have been published, of which 26 are also on CD-ROM/floppy.

Unique Features

• All texts of the Pre-Han and Han period, regardless of their nature, are included;
• Punctuation and textual notes are added. All emendations are clearly marked so as to allow the reader to recover the original text;
• A list of all the concordanced character in frequency order with pinyin are appended;
• Display format on the monitor is identical to that of the concordances;
• Search functions allow searches for a single character, a phrase, or a specific sentence structure, and results can be sent to a printer or a file for ready reference.
